The OSX get-info window button that applies permissions to enclosed items often does not work fully. I have no idea why that defect is there but it has happened to me. I was able to solve it with this free program: BatChMod download from: http://macchampion.com/arbysoft/ This program can set permissions for folders, groups of folders, and also apply the permissions to every file within the folders. It's a unix script with a graphic interface that accesses capabilities hidden in OS X. If you use it, be very careful to read and understand the documentation and make sure you are doing exactly what you intend to do, since it can change permissions on many folders and files at once. - Dave On Jan 22, 2006, at 12:31 AM, forums@... wrote: > Message posted by Ash <akaikatsurakun@...> > ______________________________________________________________________ > > Hello, > > I am using Lacie Big Disk Extreme to stream my EXS samples.
