Message posted by Will Suddeth <willpowermusic@...> ______________________________________________________________________ > ok, I'm starting to get it a little bit. but do I have to load each >sample one by one? how do I get the sample to sound factory quality? >Thanks for the help! at least I know i'm going in the right direction! you shouldnt need to load samples one by one. you can go to zone > load multiple samples and add all the wav files you want in the particular instrument selected. then decide how you want them loaded onto the keyboard. if the samples are all labelled by note value correctly you can use 'auto map' to assign them to their designated notes, 'drums' is also a similar mapping tool but without a range set. chromatic is my favoured setup if you have loads of samples you want triggering by midi without range starting from the set key C1. maximum samples per instrument is about 84 after that or thereabouts the samples start back over from C1 after that, therefore you may have 2 samples playing at the same time. hope this helps.
