You can use a third-party format convertor, which is always helpful
(Translator or CDxtract), or you can use this tip.

I'm not sure what Logic version you are running and what OS version,
but Logic sees Akai CD's but not ZipDisks. So the goal would be to
make a CD out of the Zip. Here's how, assuming OSX and you have Toast.

(However, from you post I kind of assume you are using OS9)

Use Device Copy on Toast to make an image of the Zip - and image is
nice because then you'll have a backup. Choose the Zip as the device,
then go File-Save as Disk image to make the image. You can then
either make a CD of the image using Disk Image (drag the new image
into the pane) or you can just do it off the Zip by clicking the red
button when you are in Device Copy.

Toast 6 (not sure about 7) does not have Device Copy, so you can use
Apple's Disk Utility. After you've inserted the Zip, run Disk Utility
and you'll see the Zip in the list of peripherals. Choose the
Untitled thing under it, and go File-New-Image from rdisk4s1 (it hmay
look a little different).

That's how you make your image. Then use Toast-Disk Image to make the CD.

After that, use EXS to view the Akai CD. Logic 5.5-6.0 OSX did not
include Akai import, though.

If you are using OS9, you can use Disk Copy or Toast to make your
image. Toast 4 or 5 will work.
