EXS24P can load all the .exs files you currently have. There's no need to deal with .fxp stuff. You are understanding this backwards. Past that, I don't think the .fxp's that Cubase saves really are the equivalent of an .exs file. The P in EXS24P means "player", it isn't supposed to save anything. That's the point of EXS-24 "Pro".
