I'll want to use them in EXS, but I also want to >use the wav files and make some kits in my DR008... ************ Good ! ******** Some of the wav files convert as mono files with "L" & "R" at the end of it's name, instead of making stereo wav files. I don't why, maybe it's a Wizoo thing. Not all of them do this, some do convert as stereo files. ********* It's the AKAI sound system... *************** My question is, what's the best way to take a "L" & "R" mono files and make a stereo file out of the 2 files? I pulled the files up in Logic's audio window, and selected a pair of them, and tried to "Convert to Stereo Wave", and it says "no split stereo file selected". So, that doesn't work. Will I have to lay a pair of files out on the arrange window, and then bounce in order to get these into stereo wav files? What a giant pain! There must be an easier way. Anyone know what I can do? thanks so much, David Floyd *********** Well, Open the AUDIO WINDOW and do "ADD AUDIO FILES" select u'r samples ( L & R), and do a simple CONVERSION ;o) I think it's in the AUDIO WINDOW too ! SAVE AS or BACKUP as Interleaves... Igor
