Cyril, Autosampler is really a god-sent application. In brief, I use it to record sounds from gear that I am going to get rid of and there's that one patch that's holding me back or when I need a sound for when my band plays live and I cannot possible bring 5 synths with me. I haven't done any looping in Autosampler and to my knowledge it doesn't do it at all. You need Keymap to do that. That program is well worth it and while I haven't yet begun to use EXSManager, the Compendium bundle has been worth every penny for me. Keymap produces such good loops and there are complex features just below the surface so that when you get a grasp on creating and editing EXSes, you can take them to the next level. For instance, I just learned how to normalize and even out the dynamics of a wave so that I can make better use of the envelope controls. Anyway, I use Autosampler whenever I can find an hour to program the names, key ranges, and all that of each patch I'm going to record (I like being organized) and then set it up to record when I'm asleep or working. I then turn the volume off and let it ride. I suggest everyone do the same. Hope this helps, -tom napack
