EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi, I'm just in the process of making some sound banks from advanced 
orchestra audio CD's 3,4,&5. 
In the booklet it mentions choosing either the left or right channel 
for the solo instruments because they are 
actually recorded as two mono signals rather than one stereo signal. 

I'm just wondering if I have to choose the left ir right channel for 
every solo instrument? Including all the solo 
strings/ solo trumpet/ contra bassoon etc.? 

If anyone has any experience sampling the the solo instruments 
strings/brass/woodwinds any help would be 
appreciated or if anyone is using the akai versions please let me
know 
which solo instruments are in mono?
