Midi files have nothing to do with the loading of files and samples.
They just play midi (i.e. for recycled beats they play the 'chops' so that
it sounds like the original loops. Same for Skippy's groove control beat
midi files. You still have to select the sampler instrument. If your samples
don't load theh they might be in the wrong place.
Load an instrument that plays. Find where the samples are and put the
samples for the thing that won't play in the same folder.

I spose I am taking it that you have been able to get a sound from it at
least once...
