I think no difference for the Ram but difference for the CPU

You need it for plug ins but you can't play them together. You can play
multiple Mid Tracks but not multiple Audio Instruments Tracks.

You don't need tons of samples and don't forget that drum sounds are short
so you can build cool Bd/Sn/Hh sets up for 4 Mo each. Then  you transpose
each track "on the fly".

Try with a polyphony of 1 voice, that's what we do on others samplers.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
