At our PC-lab at Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio in Oslo, Norway we have 10 workstations set up with Intel PIII 800 MHz, 128 MB Ram, SoundBlaster PCI128, MicroLogic and EXS24. The EXS24 suffers from bad latency. Theres no problems with MIDI timing so the problem is probably located to EXS24 and SoundBlaster PCI128 playback. The default setting for "Advanced latency" in the EASI MME adapter is 200 MS. Changing the Latency parameter to lower levels causes pops and crackles. Tried to change the PC AV Audio driver in Logic from "EASI MME" to EASI Direct Sound but then audio playback in Logic wouldn`t work at all. Have someone experienced similar problems and found a solution? regards Haakon Kvidal
