Well going over your budget by a lil bit you could try finding a second
hand JV1010.
It has the Session board built in, which is quite good.

Failing that then I have seen ALesis QSR's going quite cheap over here
(London)... around £250-£300 second hand.
A couple of Piano patches are quite useable.
