EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Just received my EXS yesterday and am trying to put my akai discs on my 
external firewire drive connected to my Tibook.  Why does the EXS insist on 
placing the samples and actual patches on my internal drive, in the sampler 
instruments folder, which is of course inside the Logic folder.  I don't have 
room on the internal drive for my entire library.  What's the trick.  The 
manual is confusing but I will re-read it today and see if I'm fresher and 
can make sense of it.  Thanks
