EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

It seems from the posts on this subject (and from my manual as well), 
that importing AKAI samples & programs is currently (v4.8.1) only 
possible as long as the AKAI stuff is on a CD, or if you can trick 
your computer to believe that this is the case. - haven't tried this 
myself yet..

Given that S5000 & S6000 operates with files in ms-dos system, and 
the very useful USB utility in the S-samplers, I guess I'm not the 
only one that have a full copy of my AKAIdisk on the computers HD, 
rather than on CDrom's. Has anyone tried converting AKAIprograms in 
logic5, and can anyone tell if it is now possible to browse for the 
programs on the computers drives (HDs, CDs, even floppys...)
