EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Anybody know why akai conversion is so very slow on EXS24?

At first, the conversion went smoothly and quickly.......but after
several Akai Cds converted.......the process goes like molasses!

We have moved the converted samples to another partition so the LOGIC
folder/ Akai Samples folder is virtually empty and tried to continue,
yet......it is still very slow.............

Does the EXS24......have to scan the entire sample base before
converting each sample or something...........

Anyone know what is going on here????
