EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Before I sell my E4XT Ultra, has anyone done a comparison of the two as far as sonic quality?
I realize that much depends on the soundcard.  I'm using the RME Hammerfall Digiface.

I have someone  interested in the Emu who claims that certain hardware samplers (i.e. Akai 
S1000, S1100, various non-ESI Emu products) sound far superior to any software-based 
samplers.

I'd be interested in any thoughts.
