EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I'm having a problem with some of the default names of drum instruments.

Because several akai discs use the same sampler instrument names ie. Ride
cymbal  - for example, I am finding that even if you save an instrument with
a song, a different instrument with the same name gets loaded when you
reopen the song.

Is there any way round this without renaming instruments?
