Actually switching the EXS to 32bit made all the difference.
I can have 24 EXS plus EVP88 plus Dynamo!!
Because I run Mix x 2 and a D24 card I can have as many plugs as I want
without touching the CPU.
Not bad for a 4 year old machine. (ok the G3 card is only a year old)
