With the dongle, just reinsert and reboot. It's not related to Translator; 
if you reboot and change things in your computer, this problem is likely to 
happen.

Translator is a really simple program - it doesn't affect the system in any 
way really (other than being on the computer). You are overreacting if you 
think you have to reinstall the OS.
