EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

This probably isn't a bigtime must-have download for many people, but I've
just added a DX marimba EXS instrument to the samples page on my site. I was
teaching sampling as part of a course and was using EXS24 as the easiest way
in - I made the instrument as a demo as the DX was sitting in the studio. I
did start constructing a velocity-switched Premiere drum kit instrument, but
studio schedules got too tight for all the recording and editing necessary.
I'll try to get that done in September if possible. I have some really nice
velocity-switched kit instruments I made from samples of Bill Bruford's kit
which were on a magazine CD a few years ago - it makes quite a difference to
the sound of a track if all the drum samples are matched in the way that a
professional drummer would put them together.
