EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

6 months later, and I'm still having setup problems...<jeez>

here's what I'm running:

Fatar controller > MOTU Fastlane > TiBook 400mhz 256 9.2 > Logic 4.9.2

When my Fastlane is connected straight to my USB port - everything works
simply and beautifully -  I just select EXS24 from the Audio Instrument /
Mixer window, select an instrument, and start tappping away at the Fatar.

Now I have an MBox hooked up to a USB port (it can't go thru a hub), but I
need both my Logic Dongle and my Fastlane hooked up, so I have them running
thru a hub. When I make this change, I get a led light on the Fastlane
singallign MIDI transmission, but no sound (or note change, or meter, or
anything) from the EXS24.

When I check the system profiler, it sees the Fastlane thru the hub, and I
am seeing the led light - but again - no audio.

Anybody have any ideas?

Again, I've *almost* got my system really running......(does anybody have a
midi/audio system that runs perfectly? Or is it kinda the unreachable goal?)
