Neat and clean. >You're anal, and very clever :) Nothing anal about it...VERY VERY logical, it's what I've found to be the only way to keep my stuff organized. And keeping the two folders open in the finder... Sampler inst. and Akai samples, side by side allows you NOT to screw up after each disk conversion. Here's what helped me, A) Load the disk into exs and when the disk is done, eject and click in the finder. (hide logic, of course) B) click "once" in the sampl inst folder on the folder "just" created... copy the title, and then make a new folder in Akai samples folder, paste the title of CD onto this new folder, and then drag all the loose folders exs just put in there and voila.... if you sort by "date modified" you'll have matching Akai cd titles in both sampl. inst. AND akai folders. Nothing anal Eli, just genius from you as usual. God, I love these lists! Now, do you dare think about the massive meticulous undertaking of "removing" sounds you Don't want from your exs preset list? drag to trash correct items from BOTH folders... maybe in a few weeks. cheers, yianni
