EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Funny thing: I downloaded a home-made pan flute that is in .gig 
(GigaStudio) format. When I opened it in EXS, our favourite sampler 
translated 416 zones! There should have been 74, maybe 104, but not 416. 
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that there was a whole lot of doubling 
going on.

Has anyone else noticed strange translations from Giga to EXS?

BTW, I tried converting the same .gig file in my favourite tool of the 
year, CDXtract, but it was not even close: it allowed me to choose a folder 
for the samples and the program, but upon hitting the translate button, an 
.exs file was created but no samples were translated...

It's called TJPanflute, is in .rar format (compressed - easily uncompressed 
by MacRar http://macrar.free.fr/), and was made by Thomas J.

I sure wish there was more information on Emagic's website about how EXS 
handles GIGA files.
