EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I just loaded my 2 new libraries to my EXS24 folders, both 
BackBeat and Stark Raving Beats, and as soon as I had them 
converted and into the appropriate folders, I went to load a 
session, and I could not get EXS24 to load any instruments.

So I took Stark Raving Beats out of my "Sampler Instruments" 
folder, leaving BackBeat inside, and EXS24 was working 
properly again. I proceeded to test taking one folder out, and 
putting another folder in, to see if one of my new libraries was 
causing the problem, I couldn't isolate it to a particular folder, but 
I coulld see that a particular folder count had an effect on 
whether or not EXS24 was working for me. 

I had "65" main instrument folders in my "Sampler Instruments"
folder. That seemed to be the magic number that caused EXS24 
not to load instruments. I read on the Emagic Infoweb that there 
was a 1000 file limit within a "Sampler Instument"  sub-folder, 
but not a limit to the number of folders themselves. 

I have since grouped and organized my Sampler Instruments 
folders to a lower total number, and all seems to be working well 
for now.......
