I beg to differ Ned, I think there are flaws in how EXS imports .gig files. I have "voices of the appocalypse giga" and when imported into exs and editing the programs, you will see that it triggers 2 copies of both PP and FF samples at the same time. I think this is because this library uses the mod wheel to crossfade between PP and FF samples, thus the EXS doesn't know how to deal with this. Also, it looks like it tried to set up a key switching kind of thing (where if you press C0 you get PP and C#0 to get FF) The EXS is sooo close to being perfect, if they get the mod wheel crossfade between groups thing happening, and convert this info from gig files, there'll be no need to use gigastudio. Emagic....pleeeaaassseeee :) --- In exs-users@y..., Ned Bouhalassa <ned@n...> wrote: > Hi nozehed (?!!), > > I'm a MacHead, so I don't use Giga. The translation process is a breeze.
