I agree that for the most part the sounds are fairly average. But one stellar exception, to me, is the Mark ll piano. This, with a little modulation delay and reverb, is absoloutely stunning. Almost as good as the EVP IMHO. Different, but in the same "class". The 909 and 808 drum kits are also quite useable.
