EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I downloaded who whole bunch of REX2 samples from breakbeatsonly.com. Some
of the rex files just dragged in and sounded great, some behaved as you
suggest, and some caused logic to totally crash (5.3 Windows). I wrote to
breakbeats (no reply), and even tried the loops in SX (with less success but
no crashes).

I couldn't see any differences between the files when I opened them in
recycle (including re-naming and saving), and no answers from a couple of
user groups I asked.

I guess if a loop is that great, you could always save it as a WAV file, and
the use phatmatik to play it. Same effect, but you can't import rex2 files
into phatmatik sadly...

So no advice, but plenty of sympathy from me... sorry

i've tried it everyway that i can think of...
when i import rex files into exs24 (mac logic gold 5.3 and
recently 5.5) all i get is on key/note with the whole loop in it...no
map of little slices across the keyboard as it appears that i
should be getting...what gives?
i've had to resort to importing via the arrange window and using
the add track feature to get my loops syncing with the tempo of
my song...

any suggestions would be appreciated...
