It's not that the EXS has a different tuning, this option is useful if you are converting Sample CDs that don't have the same A tuning reference that the one you are using. Today, the A440 Hz tuning pitch is mostly used by Classical Symphony Orchestras. In most other music circles, there is a tendency to move towards a pitch of A442 Hz, while some Jazzmen have been known to use A445Hz as a tuning reference. Bernard
