You probably don't use the punch in key,witch is *different* from the record
one (Usually the space bar or the '*' key).
This is a common mistake with Logic.
See your key command list and find the 'toggle record' one.
Assign this key command to a key and enable the 'punch on the fly'
setting....
No mute of the other audiotrack anymore when enabling record while playing
back the song....
I'v discovered this function maybe 2 years after using Lam....
Shame on me.....
(So ,not very logical at least...;)
