Any clues? Hi Thomas, This was happening to me when I was trying to build some large instruments (ahem) recently -- eg paste in too many zones/groups and they superimpose graphically and don't seem to work properly in other ways. The exact limitations of the EXS24 Mk II have not been spelled out and no-one involved with its development has posted here for a couple of years as far as I can remember. EXS is still a great sampler -- just wish they took a bit better care communicating about it. Also the limitations of the cross-fading model [only one kind of fading (other samplers can crossfade over a range of notes so that there is no sharp transition between zones) , no velocity switching and crossfading simultaneously) are a little bit astounding given that they have been coming for such a long time. Perhaps backward compatability was the issue here. Regards, Murray
