Hi Sara,

That quote really made me smile. It a nice thought that there are 
still students out there today that think that these sounds that I 
made in my youth, almost two decades ago sound "exotic and 
wonderful", upon hearing them for the first time! You really made 
my weekend. :-)

BTW, You made the smartest choice getting the EXS sampler 
and Logic. A sampler is a blank "palette" compared to a 
dedicated sound module. But with a little time and research, 
you'll find that there is a wealth of sounds for you to use. This 
group is an excellent place to start for ideas.

My advise would be to build what you can with free sounds, and 
then to check out some adding a few sample libraries for the 
really important sound that you need. You'll have a great 
collection together in no time. There are lots of options for you. 
Don't give up....you've got a great rig!
