Re: [exs] Sound not quite right - am I doing something wrong?

2001-03-20 by HELP@MusicProTools.com

The EXS is not supposed to adversely affect the sound quality of your
samples. If this is happening, there is something else wrong with your
setup. It is possible, however, that the method of converting the AKAI piano
to EXS is not mature enough to address velocity zones correctly. You may
need to try another conversion too, as opposed to the built-in AKAI support.
The sound quality of the samples, in any case, remains unchanged. -Jer

PS: the EXS stock sounds absolutely suck. I only use to the the bundled
instruments. The value is in the tool, not the accompanying library.
