EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I've been creating my own instruments in the EXS.  Everytime I'm working in 
the edit window for the EXS, it eventually crashes.  I'll be creating new zones 
and assigning samples to them.  Usually when I go to create a new zone and 
assign a sample to it, a blank window will appear instead of the audio file 
select window.  Then if I try to switch to a different screenset, the window will 
be blank.  When I try to quit out of Logic, my Mac then locks up, and I have to 
start all over again.  I'd appreciate any comments!

I'm running 5.5 on OS 9.2
