Actually,  I think that little storm in a teacup was resolved amicably within
the 
community of this list with the aid of a bit of humour and the agency of some
constructive 
moderating influences including, perhaps most notably yourself,  Jer. 

There were a few political references but they were employed more to
deflect the heat of the discussion than as part of any serious attempt to 
canvas matters politcal.
