Dear list I was a bit dissapointed by the wobbly "feel" of the ES1 & this made me realize how much an inspired performance depends on latency. I ordered the EXS for obvious reasons but instructed by experience I decided to keep my S3000XL as long as it would respond faster than the EXS, and crash on stage less often than a Mac... :-) I suppose many people are in the same situation: enthusiastic about what the EXS offers or promises but still dependent on a standalone machine for latency, reliability, or other reasons, and that's the way it's going to be for a while. So I suppose most of these people will want to transfer progams & samples not only from the Akai to the EXS but also the other way round. And I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing that the EXS had a "Akai emulation mode" where you could use it as a Sx000 and save data in the Sx000 format on Akai formatted Zip cartridges. Users: what do you think ? Programmers: is it a reasonable query ? thank you

What if the exs24 could run in "Akai emulation mode" ?
