I do the same thinjg. This is invaluable. And you need to do it after the very first disc you convert, and also every time you do a new disc. Or else it becomes impossible to distinguish which samples relate to which CDs.

You shouldn't need to do this manually. In the Akai conversion box there is an option to create and name a new sampler instruments folder for the current conversion about to to take place.This has been in Logic since one of the incremental v.4.x updates.
