EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I've tried (foolishly) to get some info from my local music stores, and 
also looked through the VSL forum a bit, but couldn't find any 
definitive answers..
So, my question is:

Does the Orchestral Cube come with some sort of 'performance type' 
tools / options? I keep reading about the performance tool, but suspect 
this is only going to ship with the Performance set, and then (maybe) 
be usable with the 'Cube also???
Is this something that's going to be integrated into the EXS or a 
separete app. like in the GIGA version?

Seems like no one is really sure at this point.
