EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi there! 
I have two hard drives, one for windows xp(5400rpm) and another
(7200rpm) split up in two partitions; Audio and 
Logic5platinum/samples. Would it boost performance to install Logic 
to the Windows harddrive instead? Its a athlon xp1500 with 512Ram and 
when playing the Gigapiano with VirtualMemory on using exs24 the VM 
sign just keeps popping up preventing me from bouncing a single 
miditrack to audio (even with no plugs or other audio tracks running) 
is this to be expected with the specs of my PC?
