Actually Paul you reminded me of another problem (re. evil program taking files for its own). Before we figured out to and .exs to Sample instruments to be able to see the EXS 24 file we (foolishly) just click on one (of the three) instrument files. Up popped "what program would you like to open this with?" We choose Logic. There was a couple of blips and then the Logic autoload song opened...that was it. We still couldn't find the sample instrument. After this we discovered the extention solution and changed the three files to .exs. Open Logic again and, BINGO, we can see TWO of the three sample instruments. The delinquent instrument is the first one that we opened with Logic. Even with .exs added that particular file can't be seen by the sampler. That particular file still looks like a logic file. How do we redirect the file to the EXS. (We tried reloading it but it automatically is turned into a logic...thing again) If you ahve any insight to this problem that woulld be great, Thanks, Mitch --- In exs-users@yahoogroups.com, Paul <horselesspaul@m...> wrote: > > On Thursday, May 15, 2003, at 10:58 am, exs-users@yahoogroups.com > wrote: > > > Message: 6 > > Date: Wed, 14 May 2003 14:45:59 -0000 > > From: "archetypemusic" <archetype@s...> > > Subject: PC EXS won't play Mac EXS Sample Instrument > > > > I'm trying to archieve a song for PC on my Mac.
