Yikes!

Sounds amazing, except for some of the legato passages, where the junctions
between notes just don't sound real. I think legato transitions are some of
the most difficult things to reproduce with samples. Still, some of the
violin legato lines are fantastic here.

The cello sounds rather distant and thin, but that could be because of the
heavy verb applied by the composer.

I'm a cellist myself, so I tend to be very fussy about how strings sound.
But after hearing these examples, I am now tempted to try the Kirk Hunter
solo samples, mainly to overlay with Garritan string sections (in addition
to my live 'cello), to add some variety and bite, and thus a little more
realism.

Ned, do you mean that he converted from Giga to EXS, or that the library is
available in EXS format?
