OK -- re my last post quoted below -- the reason some controllers weren't working was that I forgot that I had a compressor sitting in the first insert slot and that was grabbing some of the controllers. So just put in a fader and map controller 1 (input from mod wheel) to: controller 89 to get filter cutoff controller 90 to vary filter resonance etc as on Page 57 of your EXS manual. >LA 4.7 allows you to use the environment's tools to work with audio >instruments.
