(Logic does take some time to process midi information and your keyboard takes some time to detect a note being depressed) If you have an audio card with a fast ASIO or EASI driver or Direct I/O you will get latency down below 10 milliseconds -- even as low as 1.5 msec. M audio Delta and RME Hammerfall deliver this sort of performance on PC. If your audio interface only has MME drivers, latency could be getting up toward half a second -- useless for monitoring while playing. These latency issues do not apply to the playback of recorded sequences. As a workaround, you can record with a sound from a soundcard or module and shift the recorded sequence to playback through the EXS24 on an audioinstrument channel. Regards, Murray
