EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

just read on the emagic web site that platinum 6.2 is required to
run logic on a G5. will there be support for logic gold as well?
i just ordered a G5 and now i'm a little confused. i'm also concerned
about the new PCI standard being a problem with digidesign products.
will this also affect my audiowerk 8 card? 
any info would be greatly appreciated.

The update from Gold to PLat is what? $150 or so?
You're about to drop +/- $3000 on a new machine, so if there's any doubt, why
not upgrade to PLat as well?

first of all i'm sorry i posted this here..should have been on the Logic list.

secnod, the update here in sweden is 500$ or so and since i have to buy
a new midi interface and maybe a new soundcard if the AW8 doesn't work
with the G5 i really don't want to spend 500 extra. gold works just fine for me.
