EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

GIGA convert question:

Some GIGA instruments are quite complex (ADSR, release trigger, different
filter envelopes per note, keyswitches etc.). How do you deal with it in the
EXS? I noticed that there is constantly too much hiss in the EXS. The EXS
sounds brighter and sharper than GIGA - Maybe because of the missing cutoff
freq. ??? Do I have to adjust everything manually???? Should I use a
third-party software to do the conversion????

I converted a full string section pizzicato (200MB) - it just sounds
different (meaning better and more detailed) on GIGA than on EXS.
ANY IDEA? I guess the EXS is not meant to be a competitor to Giga or Kontakt
which are more powerful programs.
