EXS file limitation

Still in OSX I'm experiencing the problem with EXS-24 I've been ranting about before in OS9. It doesn't load files if you put over a certain amount of files in the Sampler Instruments folder. Some people have been suggesting this is a Mac OS limitation, any light on this, anybody? Sorry if this has been covered recently. Thanks / Henrik
