EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I am trying to convert an akai cd-rom and am getting nowhere fast,
any help in how 
to achieve this goal would be really appreciated.

Load up an EXS instance, and pick "AKAI convert" (or words to that 
effect) from the EXS's Options menu.  Now a window appears with the 
text "waiting for AKAI CD".  Only _then_ insert the CD in the 
CD-drive.  From there on things should be  somewhat self-explanatory. 
If you insert the CD too soon, the Finder will intercept it, 
recognize it as unreadable, and kindly offer you the option of 
ejecting it :).
