EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi there,

I was wondering if I get better results with the virtual memory of 
the EXS if telling it that my drives are really slow and the 
recording activity high or the other way around.

Obviously one results in a constant memory allocation of 24 MB 
whereas the other will only constantly allocate 8 MB.

I seem to be getting better results with the 8MB setting even though 
that doesn't really make sense to me. Shouldn't it be a safetly thing 
to have more RAM constantly allocated? That way the drive has more 
time to locate files...

If someone is willing to shed light on this I'd be very grateful
