EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I'm having problems converting Akai CDs.  I have done this many times 
before on a different Mac and this is the first time I have tried on
this Mac.  I 
get the normal "Waiting for Akai Disk" window, then insert a disk
into my CD 
Rom drive, and nothing happens. It seems like Logic is not even
seeing the 
disc.  I have checked the ESX24 preferences and "Convert from Akai"
is set 
to Mac OS.  I have tried discs that I've converted successfully in
the past, with 
the same results.  Any suggestions?
