ModWheel to Volume Confusion

ModWheel to Volume Confusion

2004-02-07 by Ned Bouhalassa

Hello friends,

So I'm trying to control volume on the EXS using a ModWheel. In the EXS
modulation matrix (or whatever its proper name is...) I've got Dest set
to Volume, and Src set to ModWheel. The amount arrow is set to the
highest level, all the way to the top. Now, when I move the ModWheel,
the volume goes down! Can someone explain why?

Thanks,

Ned

PS: I know it's not my controller, as I use it on many other virtual
inst, like GPO, without any problems.

There's an 'inv' (invert) button in each section of the modulation
matrix (which indeed is its proper name :). Did you accidentally
enable that?
