Hi Igor,

to be honest, I do use Translator only for Ensoniq conversion. As this was
my main sampler until EXS-24, I have a huge library of sounds for this
device. And apart from Translator, no other vendor did IMO the approach
to convert ASR-10 samples (everyone is doing Akai and Roland however :)

At the moment, I did not really try other import/export formats, although
Translator offers a lot of them - still for Ensoniq gear, this program
rocks. For all other sampler-translations I (unfortunately) cannot speak.

All the best
Thomas

Thomas, what about kurzweil format..
Does the current translator imports/export that?
I offered to give an hand in this, but
they said they were already working in it..
So, it's months that's due out "in 2 weeks" :)

Hi Andrea,

hope you are doing fine :)

I have just started my Translator version to take a look and "YES" if
offers Kurzweil format.

However I cannot tell you how "advanced" this conversion is as I mainly
use the Ensoniq conversion at the moment.

All the best and greetings from sunny Germany

Hi guys,
Translator does support Kurzweil, but if I'm not mistaken, it doesn't
translate to EXS....yet. At least that's the scoup on the website. I
haven't bought the program for that reason.

cheers from Texas where it's 70 degrees and flowers are blooming
everywhere...at least right now.

Kurzweil->EXS and Sample->EXS will be available this Wednesday, along with
other improvements.
