akai convert from an akai cd

cannot seem to accomplish this task. tried pressing the "convert entire cd" button tried dragging cd icon onto convert page tried copying cd contents onto desktop/harddrive then repeated above tried placing contents of cd into exs samples and sampler intrument folders in logic 6 folder and refreshing the contents of the exs24. any suggestions? ad
